Bun - Jon & The Big Jive
Swing & Jive band from Hamburg / Germany
The band was formed in 2011 by Bun - Jon Winkelmann and myself. We both met regurlary on the dance floors of Hamburg´s Lindy Hop Scene at the time. We became kind of friends and one day Bun - Jon mentioned, that he is a singer. I commented: "If your singing is as good as your dancing, well, it must be damn good." I told him that I´m a guitarist and after a while we had the idea of forming a swing and jive band.
Since our debut concert in Hamburg 2011 we were performing all over Germany and in some European countries like Italy, France, England, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Two albums have recorded, on the second one "BURN`T TOAST & BLACK COFFEE" contains two compositions of mine.
