The electric guitar was invented already in the 1930s. It really took off when Les Paul put his Gibson Les Paul on the market and Leo Fender came up with his Stratocaster Model in 1954. Electric guitars and the amplifiers and effects developed for those guitars broadened the range how the guitar could sound extremely. With this compilation - which will be filled up over the next weeks - I present my take on how the electric guitar compositions / sounds. Sincerely, Mario Stresow

RED WINGS

How about an ever so relaxing piece of music? I composed and recorded this already 30 years ago in 1996. Recently I stumbled across this old recording and I wondered what I considered to be a good sound back in those days. But the melody itself is still a timeless Beauty. And so I decided to produce it with my nowadays capabilities. Good thing is that computers and their storage units are not that much unreliable. Otherwise I could not refer to a 30 year old recording. And now: Listen and relax. Cheers, Mario Stresow
