A prayer can’t hurt. For example, one can pray that things will develop for the better of humanity in the next year. Or that the kiosk is still open. Or that your own partner will have a better mood again or at least less flatulence. There is the silent prayer. But there is also the push prayer when you have to clear someone to the side.
